Our History

Founded in 2012 in Suzano, São Paulo, GoldLog is an internationally recognized logistics company known for its seriousness, competence, transparency, and professionalism, and has been an example of continuous growth throughout its history.

We offer our clients integrated and customized logistics solutions, operating in the international logistics segments for maritime (LCL and FCL) and air modes, as well as customs clearance, cargo insurance, and many other services that complete the foreign trade chain, always counting on a professional and experienced team to meet our clients' demands.

GoldLog is highly qualified and committed to maintaining a relationship of trust and mutual respect with all its partners and, most importantly, with the satisfaction and loyalty of our clients.

GoldLog Timeline

2012

Four People

A small office, a large table, and some plastic stools. It was on General Francisco Glicério Street in Suzano that GoldLog Brazil was born and took on its first challenge: to present the market with a unique and differentiated way of freight forwarding.

First Shipment

After diligent commercial work, GoldLog's first shipment took place just a month after the company was founded: an export of 10 isotanks from Santos to Rotterdam. A shipment that, without a doubt, is etched in memory.

2013

New Employees

Even with a still modest structure, the team took shape with new employees. At that time, information was not as readily available, as companies were not yet as digitally present. It was necessary to develop relationships and contacts through phone calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings. Each new shipment represented a significant milestone in GoldLog's history, as even with an already experienced team, being a very young company had its own challenges.

2013

Magaya

With the increase in shipment volume, managing operations through spreadsheets became costly for the team. The company felt the need for a management system, and at the beginning of 2014, the ERP Magaya system was introduced.

For those present at the system's implementation, the memory is quite strong: the system not only provided greater efficiency in executing activities but also facilitated communication between departments and operations, further defining them, and allowed the team to gain even more strength, with a significant gain in time for analysis and decision-making.

2014

Coverings Fair Florida - USA

Coverings, an important event for the ceramic tile and natural stone industry in North America, was the company's first participation in an international fair.

GoldLog's presence was represented and allowed the company's name to be taken outside the Brazilian market for the first time.

2016

IATA Certification

Air shipments became increasingly frequent, requiring greater preparation and authority from the company. In 2016, the company underwent the IATA (International Air Transport Association) certification process to gain even more authority in the mode and received the association's certification in the same year.

2016

Gulfood Dubai - UAE

2016 also brought the opportunity to attend Gulfood, an important food fair aimed at the Arab market. Through the invitation of a major bean exporter, GoldLog participated in this great event. This experience opened many doors for food transportation, some of which remain open to this day.

2016

Mercosul Itajaí Ship Christening

One of the greatest honors for a freight forwarder is being invited to participate in the christening of a ship, not only for its importance but also for the rarity of this event in Brazil. In 2016, we at GoldLog attended the christening of the Mercosul Itajaí ship in Santos.

2017

Trip to Guatemala

One of the main commodities imported by GoldLog is latex. Present since the company's first shipments, the team became specialists in the merchandise. As part of this development, in 2017, we traveled to Guatemala with clients to develop a better commercial relationship with the main exporter, as well as to closely follow the production and logistics processes.

2018

The Five Star World Agency Network

GoldLog Brazil's first opportunity to present itself as an international freight forwarder was at the 13th general meeting of the Five Star World Agency Network in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. In front of agents from various countries, our team was able to present at the event, showcasing Brazil's intensity and GoldLog's work ethic, receiving ovations from all.

2019

The Gold Way

The year 2019 was marked by major events that showcased the weight of the #goldway, such as the gathering at a resort in Minas Gerais. In addition to many other punctual events throughout the year, the first social action was carried out in conjunction with all employees. The participation of everyone allowed for the charitable collection of nearly 2 tons of food, contributing to the work of various institutions and NGOs in our region.

2020

Expansion Amidst the Pandemic

At the beginning of 2020, the only topic in the headlines was the new coronavirus, and because of it, the world began to seek ways to protect itself. With the GoldLog team, it was no different: even before the lockdown was decreed, all measures were taken to ensure that all work was done remotely. To ensure that celebrations and the #goldway were not left aside, the June festival took place directly at each employee's home. Boxes with typical foods were delivered to each team member so that everyone could enjoy. In 2020, GoldLog Brazil had its first expansion: the opening of the office in Vila Helio, in Mogi das Cruzes. This expansion was quite important for welcoming new team members, who continued to grow even during the pandemic.

2021

Adaptation Process for (AEO)

Unlike many companies that unfortunately closed their doors due to the pandemic, GoldLog Brazil continued to grow. In 2021, the team reached the number of 44 employees for the first time. Through these major hires, the company further developed its training process, applying its own Foreign Trade course. Other important milestones this year are the beginning of the adaptation process for the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certification and the opening of GoldLog Brazil's branch in the USA.

2022

Expobor

This was not only our first participation in Expobor but also our first experience as exhibitors at a fair. In June 2022, GoldLog Brazil showed more than 150 exhibitors and 8,000 visitors how it is possible to do international logistics intelligently and personalized and grow in an increasingly demanding market. Everyone felt the #GoldWay present in every detail. For a dream to become a reality, it takes much more than planning and money; it takes people who believe in it. And GoldLog Brazil is that: a dream that became a reality because of the people who believed and continue to believe in it. Our first decade of history strengthened our traits as a company and showed us that we can go much further!

2023

AGM Trip to Turkey

We were present at the AGM, the annual convention that brought together members of the Five Star World Agency Network, held in Istanbul, Turkey. We had the opportunity to once again meet with other members who, like us, are directly committed to the development of international logistics worldwide. We expanded our networking and updated ourselves on various topics related to foreign trade, in addition to strengthening ties with our partners and potential suppliers.

Smartcomex

We were present at the AGM, the annual convention that brought together members of the Five Star World Agency Network, held in Istanbul, Turkey. We had the opportunity to once again meet with other members who, like us, are directly committed to the development of international logistics worldwide. We are AEO

The AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certification qualifies cargo agents operating in Brazil, increasing business flow such as process agility, security and credibility in the sector and the quality of operations. Certified Brazilian freight forwarders are endorsed by the Federal Revenue of Brazil as complying with their legal obligations, becoming reliable and low-risk companies, in addition to benefiting from easier customs procedures, both in the country and abroad.
